This program is mainly for the workers who are looking to become permanent residents of Canada based on their skills.

 

To be eligible in FSTP there are certain bars that you need to cross:

 

  1. You must have taken a language proficiency test and scored either equal or more than the set cut-off.
  2. Within the five years before to applying, you must have at least two years of experience in one of the skilled trades.
  3. It's also critical to meet the skilled job standards established by the NOC.
  4. Before applying for a PR Visa, make sure you have a relevant employment offer from a reputable and recognised Canadian organisation for at least a year.

 

CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS (CEC)

 

The Canadian Experience class, unlike the other two, is primarily for skilled individuals who have already worked in Canada and wish to become Permanent Residents.

 

However, there are certain differences:

 

  • You are required to take any certified Language Proficiency test and avail either equal or more the set cut-off by the Canadian Government.
  • You should have relevant work experience i.e.; at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada within the last 3 years of application filing.
  • You are also eligible if you have work experience after working in Canada under temporary resident status with however the permission to work.
